Chao Stadium
The Chao Stadium is where your Chao can race and fight other Chao. Its accessible from the Neutral Chao Garden.
Racing
Many people raise Chao to race them, especially if they want all 180 emblems, because 8 of them can be won there (10 in the Dreamcast). When your racing, watch your Chao's stamina, it will go down through the race and when its out, your Chao walks slowly. You can cheer your Chao on by pressing "A", this will lower its stamina but your Chao will run faster for a bit. Note that only Dark Chao can race in the Dark Chao Races, and only Hero Chao can race in the Hero Chao Races (Neutral Chao can race in both Hero and Dark races). Items you can win:
- Shovel: Win all 3 Crab Pool Races
- Watering can: Win all 3 Stump Valley Races
- Toy Car: Win all 3 Mushroom Forest Races
- Rattle: Win all 3 Block Canyon Races
- Hero Ball: Win first 2 levels of Hero Race
- Dark Ball: Win first 2 levels of Dark Race
- Normal Ball: Win the first 4 levels of the Challenge Race
- Dark Radio: Win all 4 Dark Races
- Hero Rocking Horse: Win all 4 Hero Races
- Normal TV: Win all 12 Challenge Races
- Normal Jack in the Box: Win first 8 Challenge Races

Karate
In Chao Karate there are four levels, Beginner, Standard, Expert and Super. To get the Super level you need to beat the other three levels. There are three ways to win, pushing the Chao of the edge, having more health at the end of the 90 seconds, and defeating the other Chao. This is how your Chao uses the five stats to defeat its opponents:
- Swimming -- Defense
- Flying -- Stealth
- Running -- Speed
- Power -- Power
- Stamina -- Health
"Zeal" is your Chao's energy, it gradually goes down through the match, eventually your Chao gets tired and sits down, when this happens, press "A" as fast as you can to raise it. Zeal also gets raised when your Chao attacks its opponent.
Beginner
Opponent 1: Chaosky, a baby neutral Chao.
Opponent 2: Chaolin, a baby neutral Chao.
Opponent 3: Chaoko, a baby neutral Chao.
Opponent 4: Eggie, a baby neutral Chao with a regular egg shell for a hat. Or Dinner, a baby Chao with a pan for a hat.
Opponent 5: Happy, a baby neutral Chao with bunny parts and an apple for a hat.
Standered
Opponent 1: Lucky, a dark swim Chao with a paper bag for a hat.
Opponent 2: Smokey, a regular neutral adult Chao with a pumpkin for a hat. Or Melody, a Hero Chao with a pot for a hat.
Opponent 3: Stormy, a hero power Chao with a yellow and red striped wool hat.
Opponent 4: Spooky, a neutral run Chao with a blue-striped wool hat.
Opponent 5: Stinky, a dark fly Chao with a gray-striped wool hat.
Expert
Opponent 1: Chappy, a dark normal Chao with a cardboard box hat. Or Magic, a Hero run Chao.
Opponent 2: Ninja, a dark fly fly Chao. Or Skull, a Neutral fly Chao with a skull hat.
Opponent 3: Tin, a hero swim Chao with a tin bucket hat. Or Woody, a neutral/swim/none type with a stump hat.
Opponent 4: Rainbow, a dark power power Chao.
Opponent 5: Wacky, a neutral run Chao with a short tempered personality.
Super
Opponent 1: Crush, a neutral run Chao with a watermelon hat.
Opponent 2: Wacky, a neutral run Chao with a short tempered personality and dragon horns.
Opponent 3: Crystal, a Gold Angel Chaos Chao.
Opponent 4: Angel, an Aquamarine Jewel Devil Chaos Chao.
Opponent 5: Flash, a Shiny Black Light Chaos Chao.
