The Tiny Chao Garden can be "downloaded" from either Sonic Adventure 2: Battle or Sonic Adventure DX for Gamecube. Plug in a Gameboy (with NO game cartridge) And use the Chao Transporter to move a Chao to the Gameboy. There is no way to save, so the Chao needs to be moved back before turning off the Gameboy.

This version is the same as the Sonic Advance Version. Chao can walk, talk, eat, and sleep. But they can't fly or swim. The mini games are Janken and Card Matching.

This version is similar to the Sonic Pinball Party and Sonic Advance 2 version. Chao walk, eat, sleep, talk, and can swim and fly. It has the Card Matching game as usual, and has Chao Search, where you play as Sonic who is in search of Cheese's 10 friends. Cheese gives you a name of a Chao to search for, and when you find it, you bring it back to Cheese who will give you another name until all 10 are found. Tikal gives you hints to help find the Chao. You have two minutes to find them. Every Chao found gives you 10 rings. Bringing back incorrect Chao cuts thirdy seconds from the clock.
