This tiny garden is only big enough for one Chao, and one egg which will hatch when the other Chao is not in the garden. The Tiny Chao Garden is also home to two mini games, which info on can be found below. It also has a shop where you can buy your Chao things, and info for it can also be found below. The only things Chao do in this garden is walk around, sleep, and talk. What your Chao says is random, but usually is based off its mood.

Stats are shown on the right. Belly is how hungry the Chao is. It slowly goes down until you feed it. Mood is how happy the Chao is. De-weeding the garden (the grassy things that randomly pop up. Click on them to remove them), petting the Chao, and feeding it will raise its mood. Chao, rings, eggs, and fruit can be transferred to the Sonic Adventure games (only Chao can be transferred to the Tiny Chao Garden, though). Chao do not evolve in the Tiny Chao Garden, making it perfect for raising your Chao's stats to 99.
There are two games in the Tiny Chao Garden. There's Janken and a Card Matching game. Go to the bottom of the page for a video that shows these games in action.
In this game, cards fly around your Chao which have hand gestures on them. You have three cards with gestures on them too. It's basically Rock/Paper/Scissors, so all cards of either rock, paper, or scissors hand gestures. If you shoot a card that beats the card that it's hit (Rock beats scissors, scissors beats rock ect.), then the card is removed and you gain a ring. If you hit a card that matches yours, then it is removed without the gain of a ring. Hitting a card that beats yours makes you lose a life. Which you have five of.

In this game, there are 14 cards with 7 different foods on them. They start face-up, and after a few seconds, they get turned over and a Chao walks by and pushess them around. If you press the "A" button you can trip your Chao and make him flip over the card (only once can you do that, though). When the Chao is done, you need to match up each card with its mate (there's two of each type of card). Also, if you pick the wrong mate, you lose a life, which you have three of. If you match all of them, you get a bonus based on how many lives you still have: three lives gets 60 rings, two lives gets 30 rings, and one life gets 10 rings.

To open the store, press the "L" button. There are seven fruit, one egg, and one toy (until you buy all three) sold at all times. There are three toys. The first, a trumpet (1000 rings), the second, a rubber duck (2000 rings), and the third, a TV (8000 rings).

Each fruit raises and lowers stats in a different way. Here is a list of the fruit:
